Leidos Supply Ltd has placed a contract for 3 years with Draeger Medical UK Limited for the provision of Support of 21 Fabius Tiro and 55 Oxylog 1000 devices. The contract is to provide user and maintainer training, spares and repairs. The contract has been placed with Draeger Medical UK Limited under Section 32 (2)(b)(ii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 using the Negotiated Procedure without prior publication due to the absence of competition for technical reasons. Draeger are the only supplier able to provide OEM training, no other tier supplier and can carry out OEM certified Train the Trainer packages. Under Ministry of Defence policy personnel must attend and complete OEM training therefore the contract can only be placed with Draeger.
