Tender description
Machine guns. Expressions of Interest to participate in this requirement are to be submitted via DCO by completing the Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ). The DPQQ shall be assessed on the DCO using the scoring/selection criteria given within the DPQQ and with each question. Potential Suppliers will be expected to provide evidence of having supplied and/or manufactured articles of a similar engineering nature as part of their DPQQ response. A copy of the Annex shall be uploaded onto the DPQQ to provide a review of the line items. It is the intention to invite to tender up to 2-5 economic operators. Only those suppliers who provide all mandatory information and are not subject to a mandatory exclusion will be invited to tender. The Contract/s will be awarded based on the lowest compliant bid, in terms of price and lead time. All items within scope are codified to NATO Stock Numbers (NSN's). Down-selected Tenderers shall be invited to submit bids for CSIS compliant parts. The compliant Manufacturer's Part Numbers (MPNs) are detailed on the Codification Support Information System (CSIS) (maintained by the United Kingdom National Codification Bureau); further details can be found on the CSIS/UKNCB website. The Authority reserves the right to amend the Framework Agreement to include further in scope items, which are not materially different in character and so not substantially change the terms of the Framework Agreement, post Contract award. The Contractor appointed to the Framework Agreement shall be provided with a list of new in scope items if required. The Contractor shall be entitled to supply firm prices and lead times for those items within a specific timeframe. It is the Authority’s intention that compliant items would be added to the Contractor’s Contract based on lowest price on a line by line basis. Any resulting Contract shall contain a set of Key Performance Indicators to measure performance in areas such as delivery and quality, and shall include remedies for poor performance.
