Tender description

A provider is sought to deliver 24hr 7 day/week on site presence and care across 20 extra care units for which Spelthorne BC with SCC have nominations rights. Beechwood Court offers self-contained accommodation under tenure with care and support. Landlords A2 Dominion provide housing management services. Delivery of extra care for SCC funded service users across 20 units is 141 hrs/week spot purchase plus 64 hrs overnight/emergency block care. The other units house tenants who privately purchase care so there may be scope for provision of additional hours. The SCC Care Services Contract duration is 7 years (3 year initial term with max. of 2 extensions of up to 2 years each).The procurement will be conducted under the Light Touch Regime in accordance with Regs. 74-76 PCRs with a process incorporating features of the Restricted Procedure. A max. of 10 providers shortlisted following selection stage will be invited to submit tenders for consideration of award of a Care Services Contract.
