Further to the previous PIN (2018/S 090-203061), Essex County Council would like to invite prospective candidates for this procurement opportunity to attend the second market engagement event on 21.8.2018 at the Council's main offices at County Hall Chelmsford CM1 1QH. During the course of this workshop the Council will present an overview of the tender process and explain how to submit a compliant response via the Council’s e-tendering portal. This workshop will be conducted during 2 timeslots, firstly between 13:00 to 13:45 with an alternative session held between 14:00 and 14:45. To reserve a space at one of these sessions, please e-mail: Rachel.Horne@essex.gov.uk confirming the names of your organisation’s representatives who will be attending the workshop and indicate your preferred appointment time on 21st August. Please ensure that you confirm your attendance by 17:00 on 17.8.2018. At this stage, the Council intends to structure this procurement opportunity in three (3) lots, the first of which is due to encompass education and vocational training. Prospective candidates are advised that the scope of the lots for this procurement opportunity have yet to be finalised and the Council reserves the right to refine the scope of this lot following the market engagement event. The final scope of the lots will be publicised in the corresponding contract notice prior to the formal launch of this procurement activity. At this stage, the Council intends to structure this procurement opportunity in three (3) lots, the second of which is due to encompass tuition services. Prospective candidates are advised that the scope of the lots for this procurement opportunity have yet to be finalised and the Council reserves the right to refine the scope of this lot following the market engagement event.
