Tender description
For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition - this is to initiate a soft market testing process. Staffordshire County Council's All Age Disabilities and Mental Health Commissioning Team are seeking to re-commission the existing Community Support (Regulated) Framework for people with a Learning Disability and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition (18+), which is due to end on 31st March 2019. Staffordshire County Council is seeking to ensure a sustainable and quality Community Support offer for citizens with a Learning Disability and/or Autism and/or Mental Health who are tenants in their own right and supported 24/7. For the avoidance of doubt this includes potentially supporting individuals in early adulthood. We would like to invite Providers who can provide 24 hour tenanted supported living, and to gain your views on: • The future Specification; • Pros and Cons of potential contracting mechanisms for procuring support; • The Pros and Cons for all parties of setting an hourly rate. The Providers we are seeking to work with will be able to prevent, reduce or delay the development of care and support needs, providing good outcomes for citizens. To start the market engagement process, events will be held to obtain feedback from interested providers to help shape the model and future provision. Details of the events are as follows: • Tuesday 17th July 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm. The event will be held in the Main Hall, Kingston Centre, Entrust, Fairway, Stafford, ST16 3TW. This event is specifically for Learning Disability Providers. • Friday 20th July 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm. The event will be held in the Main Hall, Kingston Centre, Entrust, Fairway, Stafford, ST16 3TW. This event is specifically for Mental Health Providers. • Tuesday 24th July from 10 am to 12 pm. The event will be held in the Trentham Suite, SCC, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2LP. This event is specifically for Learning Disability Providers. If you would like to attend this event, please contact Katy Wood or Sarah Taylor, on 01785 278989 / 277089 or e-mail katy.wood@staffordshire.gov.uk / sarah.taylor@staffordshire.gov.uk to confirm your place. Places at each event are limited to 25 people in total and a maximum of 1 delegate from each organisation, so please ensure the most appropriate individual attends from your organisation. A soft market testing online questionnaire will also be made available with this Notice for you to complete whether you are able to attend the event or not in order to capture your comments.
