4942 - Adult Substance Misuse & Rehabilitation - Provision of - Out of Borough

Tender description

The London Borough of Bexley is carrying out an open tender process to appoint a number of providers for its inpatient detoxification and residential rehabilitation treatment for adult substance misuse. The tender is made up of 4 categories of work which is split between a block contract for planned medically assisted inpatient detoxification for a set number of bed nights and secondly a framework that covers the following need categories; • Medically assisted inpatient detoxification (planned) (i) • Medically assisted in-patient complex detoxification/stabilisation (crisis) • Residential Rehabilitation with 24 hour cover • Residential Rehabilitation without 24 hour cover (Quasi-residential) (i) Excess once bed nights in block contract have been used Placements will be agreed through LB Bexley’s Tier 4 Substance Misuse Panel and are only agreed following adequate preparation of the service user and full agreement of a community-based aftercare package. Providers meeting the required criteria will form a framework of approved providers on a call-off arrangement with a single provider being selected for the block contract.
