Tender description

The Authority will be holding an "open" day for bidders to attend. The day shall be held at the Riverside Centre's Hunnyside Room, Newport Isle of Wight, PO30 2QR on the 20th July 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm, The intention of the open day / bidders event is to gather interest and engage with the market regarding our upcomning Tender for a fully integrated, high quality supported accommodation and supported lodgings. This is due to be published on the 5th August. The Procurement is initially going to be a framework made up of 8 lots. further details will be provided on the day. To register you interest and willingness to attend the event please register with Procontract and confirm you attenance through the portals messaging facility Typically moving from foster care/residential in planned way as they prepare for independence; Separated Children Seeking Asylum, typically placed as part of the National Transfer Scheme; Care leavers. Young people who have spent 13 weeks after their 14th birthday and are in care on 16th birthday. The cohort would include young people who are 16-25 years and who have left secure accommodation at the end of a custodial sentence or who are awaiting court and likely to have a custodial sentence. It might also suit young people who have been repeatedly evicted from other shared / semi-independent provision. Parents aged 16-25 years who require supported accommodation with their child to facilitate assessment of their parenting capacity by children’s services. Accommodation for parents and children with the parent aged between 16 – 25 years whilst providing housing related support to maintain independence and help to secure accommodation in order to move on to independent living. Young people aged 18 – 25 years who have become homeless and need help to secure accommodation in order to move on to independent accommodation. Young parent(s) aged 16-25 years who require housing related support in the community to either find suitable accommodation or maintain their tenancy.
