Tender description
The Housing Act 1996 (as amended) imposes a statutory duty on LA’s to provide accommodation to certain households. The Council’s own accommodation is insufficient to meet this demand. The Council therefore seeks and appoints a number of providers to supplement its own accommodation. The Council currently has approximately 350 households in temporary accommodation. The number of providers on the Framework is not limited but entire scope of work will only be circulated across those suppliers who submit their bids and pass the quality checks.
