Scheme Based Supported Living Service at 30f Blackhorse Lane

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking bids from organisations for The provision of a Scheme Based Supported Living Service for individuals living at a new 6 unit supported living scheme at 30f Blackhorse Lane, Downend, Bristol. Some service users may also be receiving one to one support from another organisation. The service users will be adults of working age; however, it is envisaged that they will primarily be aged 18 - 24 and may not have lived independently before. The scheme provides short term (max two years) accommodation and service users will receive support to enable them to move to long term accommodation. Support will be provided to adult service users with learning difficulties. Organisations must have a proven track record in providing support to service users with Learning Difficulties (including personal care) and must be CQC registered and have been rated good or above in their last inspection. It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 05 November 2018; however bidders should be aware that the Council may require an earlier start. The service will require one on-site staff member to be available to support service users 24hrs per day 365 days per year and will include provision of one waking night staff member. The contract is for 48 months with an optional extension clause of 24 months subject to performance and funding. The OJEU has been published based on an estimated value of £890,000 for this contract over the maximum term including any extension. TUPE does not apply to this tender.
