Tender description

As part of ongoing work to reduce the numbers of children entering care, Plymouth City Council intends to secure through tender a delivery partner (provider) to implement the ‘Pause’ model in Plymouth, working with women experiencing a repeat cycle of care proceedings. Through an intense programme of support, Pause aims to break this cycle and give women the opportunity to reflect, tackle destructive patterns of behaviour, and develop new skills and responses that can help them create a more positive future, and upon which they can build their capacity to successfully parent any further children they choose to have. The Council anticipates opening this procurement opportunity on 18 July 2018, subject to change at the Council’s discretion. Keywords: Children entering care, Pause
