Night Time Economy Review

Tender description

With the Late Night Levy (LNL) being in place now in the City of London (the City) there is a need to fully understand the types of licensed premises, the types of risks associated with them and strategies to address these and improve the late-night Night Time Economy (NTE). Providing a clear analysis and mapping of licensed premises in the NTE will provide a greater opportunity for targeted provision of services and interventions, allowing for better management of the NTE and more efficient and effective use of the funds allocated for this purpose through the LNL. It will also provide increased understanding of the issues and challenges of the NTE to help inform strategic and policy documents and services. The aims and objectives: o A better understanding of the Night Time Economy, particularly the part that is operating under the Late Night Levy. o Evidence on the impact of the Late Night Levy for the expected review. o Evidence and insight on the potential and utility of Cumulative Impact Policies within the City of London. o Data and insight to support joint processes for allocation of the Late Night Levy. o Evidence, data and insight to feed into the development of the Local Plan, the City Alcohol Strategy, the London Plan, and the Culture Mile. o Data and insight to inform the operation of City public systems and services, such as cleaning and lighting.
