Tender description

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking expressions of interest from third party developers to deliver a new primary care facility known as the Whitchurch Road Primary Care development. The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board are looking to appoint a preferred third party developer to deliver a new primary care facility known as the Whitchurch Road Primary Care development. The Whitchurch Road Primary Care development will encompass the relocation of the Whitchurch Road Medical Practice with additional capacity. The practice currently comprises 3 GP Partners with a team of skilled health care professionals delivering core primary care services and a range of enhanced services. The practice is an accredited GP training practice. The gross internal area for this development is identified as being in the region of 630 m2 exclusive of car parking. The above development requires an innovative building of high design quality which meets the sustainable development agenda and will support the delivery of care close to home. Expressions of interest are sought from appropriately qualified developers to take forward the project.
