MARKET CONSULTATION -Supported Living - Locality Tender

Sutton Council is preparing to publish a tender opportunity for our commissioned supported living schemes. The council currently spends in the region of £3,500,000 pa in the services in scope. We are interested in the market’s view of our proposed new arrangements, as set out in the draft Service Specification, and in particular: 1) Views of our Locality model and proposal to commission one provider for each locality i) Do providers have the organisational scope and ability to meet the range of service user needs ii) Would the opportunity to bid for a substantial amount of work be of interest? 2) Views of our new Core and Individual hours model 3) Providers interest in and willingness to work with the Council to make the best use of available resources, including meeting savings targets 4) Any other comments re draft Service Specification 5) Would they bid for this opportunity as presented? NB If ‘no’ or ‘unsure’, it would be helpful if providers indicate their reason(s) 6) Whether providers would be able & willing to act as appointee? (Please note this is desirable but not essential). NOTE: The Service Specification and these questions are available as documents within the attachment section of this consultation. We would ask that you submit any feedback / responses by uploading a document via the messaging system on the portal.
