Summary of the work There is a requirement to provide direct support to the Integrated User Services team. This is now in the final stages of renegotiating its contract ready for the next phase to complete the build and prepare for the migration. Specialist role Delivery manager Expected Contract Length 11 months with an option to extend by a further 11 months subject to financial approval Latest start date Monday 13 August 2018 Maximum Day Rate Budget per day including agency fees is £450 ex VAT. £3,000 inc VAT Limit of Liability for T&S Who Speclialist Work With Civilian, Military and contractors within the NSoIT Integrated User Services team, other areas of ISS and its suppliers. What Specialists Work On • Assist the IUS Skype for Business enterprise Voice migrations through tracking and reporting against milestones and migration events • Assit the IUS Fixed Voice Secret migrations through tracking and reporting against migration events. • Assist with completing a scheduled programme of works for legacy TDM phone numbers for the MOD estate • Assist with the production of an effective S4B comms plan • Assist with the production of an aligned schedule of work of migration of FVS with GC MOD core network Skills & Experience • Strong project management skills; demonstrated ability to work in a self-structured, project-based technical environment working across the Business to plan, execute and report delivery activities 20% • Experience supporting management and monitoring multi-site migration activity with cross-departmental dependencies; support development of migration approach/plan; support development & utilise tracker to monitor & report progress 25% • Demonstration of strong MS Office skills and experience of utilising MS Office tools to underpin project planning and control, maintaining coherent governance & reporting 10% • Relevant, recent experience of developing stakeholder engagement / communications plans 10% Nice to Haves Relevant, recent (within 3 years) and successful experience of planning and delivering customer dependencies for projects to demanding schedules, using innovation (10%) Work Location ISS, Building 405, Westwells Road, MOD Corsham, SN13 9NR Working Arrangments All tasking will take place from MoD Corsham and you are required there 5 days a week on a working day of 8 hours to include 30 minutes for lunch, unless otherwise agreed. Day visits may be required to other Ministry of Defence/supplier sites. All travel and any overnight visits will only be permitted if permission is sought in advance. The individual will report to the Platform Delivery (Official) Team Leader. Security Clearance SC Clearance must be in place prior to the contract starting due to the projects the individual is required to work with. This role has been released a few times now and not filled - We think this is because the rate is too low for an inside of IR35 role. CCS have also confirmed DOS should not be used for contingent labour, but to procure specialists and project teams outside of IR35 for consultancy work packages with clear outcomes. There are other consultants working with you who are Outside of IR35 - Can you please confirm if you will be using another framework or making another assessment on the IR35 status? The Authority must comply with the regulations regarding IR35. Each role is independently verified and classed as within IR35 or not before an advert is placed. The Authority is looking for a particular skill set to cover this role and has used the most relevant Framework to advertise for this requirement.
