Tender description

The Local Enterprise Offices of Dublin City, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, Fingal and South Dublin (hereinafter referred to as LEO Dublin City) recognise the importance of the development of management skills for people managing their own micro or small enterprises. It also recognises the very substantial improvements in productivity and profitability that can result from the application of LEAN principles in an organisation and aims to support managers in effectively embracing LEAN methodologies in their businesses.Dublin City Council is undertaking a procurement process for the establishment of a multi- party framework agreement relating to the training needs of the LEO Dublin City for our LEAN Business Programme Dublin on behalf of itself and the other Dublin LEO offices.The framework agreement will be for a period of 1 year, with the option to extend annually for up to an additional 3 years, at the sole discretion of the Client, subject to a maximum of four [4] years subject to satisfactory performance, business needs and budgetary constraints. Up to 6 LEAN programmes to be delivered on an annual basis subject to requirements and availability of funding.For the avoidance of doubt, the contracting Authority confirms that the period of any contracts awarded under the framework agreement may extend beyond the date of expiry of the agreement.Where Dublin City Council exercises its renewal options, mini-competitions will be held and framework members will be invited to revise and resubmit the prices offered. The estimated total value of any purchases pursuant to the framework agreement is in the region of €120,000 to €180,000 ex. VAT over the lifetime of the agreement. The maximum estimated value of the framework agreement for its entirety is the region of €460,000- €600,000.The estimated total maximum number of LEAN programmes that may be required under this agreement is 6 programmes per annum.Subject to demand.
