Tender description

Derby City Council requires a service provider to audit the housing benefit subsidy claim to DWP requirements, to give the DWP assurance of a valid and true claim. The provider will conduct testing of all Housing Benefit Assurance Procedure (HBAP) aspects of the audit. Estimated £28,000 annual cost, with some additional capacity for any retesting charges. The initial contract period is 24 months; the contract is estimated to commence 01/07/2018 and expire 30/06/2020. There will be an option to extend the contract for up to 24 months in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs.
