Tender description
Kent County Council is looking to appoint Prime Contractors to drive the development and improvement of Housing Related Support Services for Children, Young People and Adults as defined in the ITT, split across multiple lots covering Adults Services and Children's Services. This tender will use the Light Touch Regime as permitted in PCR 2015 S.74-77. Kent County Council is awarding Framework Contracts to Prime Contractors to work with the council to lead the reshaping, re-design and delivery of services to support vulnerable children, Young People & adults with support needs. The Council seeks Prime Contractors who can design and deliver a flexible, consolidated and cohesive integrated offer, which includes innovative approaches focussed upon improved outcomes for vulnerable people The Council also seeks to appoint providers of support services to vulnerable offenders. Kent County Council is awarding Framework Contracts to Prime Contractors to work with the council to lead the reshaping, re-design and delivery of options and interventions to support vulnerable homeless adults with support needs. The people who use these services have complex histories, including entrenched rough sleeping and will often have encountered past disadvantage and trauma, have mental health problems including those deriving from substance misuse issues, and/or borderline learning disabilities or difficulties. These services will enable avoidance or recovery from homelessness, and prevention of the escalation of their needs and subsequent future statutory costs to the Council. The Council seeks Prime Contractors who can design and deliver a flexible, consolidated and cohesive integrated offer, which includes innovative approaches focussed upon improved outcomes for vulnerable people. This lot covers East Kent.
