Tender description

NHS England Midlands and East (East) is intending to commission a provider to deliver a Liaison and Diversion Service in Cambridgeshire with an enhanced women's pathway. Liaison and Diversion services aim to support people early in the criminal justice pathway and aim to operate in police investigation centres, magistrates and crown courts and other sites. The service intends to provide rapid assessment and signposting to a range of services including support with people with MH issues, LD, substance misuse, and other health and social needs. The Commissioner wishes to extend the scope of the service to provide in reach Liaison and Diversion services to remand prisons in the region to ensure continuity of care between police custody and prisons. The contract is anticipated to commence on 1.4.2019 for a duration of 5 years. Estimated Annual Contract Value: 1 000 000 GBP per annum This Prior Information Notice is to inform potential bidders of a further market engagement event followed by a site visit to HMP Peterborough to be held on 13.7.2018. The Market engagement event will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am followed by the visit to HMP Peterborough at 12:00 noon. Please note that an expression of interest in this market event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise.
