GP Services (APMS) for Rugeley, Armitage and Burntwood

NHS Arden and GEM CSU (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England Midlands and East (North Midlands), CCC CG and SESSP CCG (the Commissioners) under delegated commissioning arrangements, is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver primary care medical services for Lot 1 – The Horsefair Practice, (Sandy Lane Health Centre Rugeley, Springfield Health and Wellbeing Centre Rugeley and Armitage), Lot 2 – Sandy Lane Surgery, Rugeley and Lot 3 - Burntwood Health & Wellbeing Centre, Burntwood. The Commissioners are looking for a provider to deliver: a) High quality, patient centred and value for money (VFM) Primary GP services, delivered in a safe and effective manner. b) Primary Medical Services including Essential, Additional and Enhanced Services as set out in the Service Specification. It is anticipated that the service provision resultant of this procurement will have an annual agreement value as detailed below: Lot 1 – The Horsefair Practice, (Sandy Lane Health Centre Rugeley, Springfield Health and Wellbeing Centre Rugeley and Armitage), circa £1,107,275.90 per annum (at £87.92 per weighted patient based on April 2018 size of 12,594.13) excluding V.A.T Lot 2 – Sandy Lane Surgery, Rugeley circa £1,042,907.91 per annum (at £87.92 per weighted patient based on April 2018 list size of 11,862.01) excluding V.A.T Lot 3 - Burntwood Health & Wellbeing Centre, Burntwood, circa £459,853.14 per annum (at £87.92 +10% premium per weighted patient based on April 2018 list size of 4,754.97) excluding V.A.T As a result of this procurement exercise an APMS contract for each individual lot will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for: Lot 1 - initial contract period of 10 years with an option to extend for a further 5 years (maximum 15 years).
