Tender description
Northern, Eastern and Western (NEW) Devon CCG and South Devon & Torbay (SDT) CCG are looking for registrations of interest for attendance to a market engagement event for Children and Young People Complex Personal and Nursing Care on: 26th July 2018 between 9.00am - 12.00pm This event will be held in the area of Exeter or Torquay, but final venue and agenda details will be confirmed to attendees closer to the time, following completion of registration of attendance. The engagement exercise by NEW Devon CCG and SDT CCG will inform the development of the CCGs approach to improving the delivery of services of Children and Young People Complex Personal and Nursing care. The purpose of the service is to support and enable Children and Young People to remain in their own homes, living as safely and independently as possible. The commissioner critical success factors for this service are: • Children, Young People and Parents/Carers have consistent staff, who treat and care for them with kindness, dignity and respect. • Children, Young People and Parents/carers are involved in deciding the nature of their Care plan. • Children, Young People and Parents/Carers have greater choice and control and will see an increase in personal budgets. • A sustainable provision by ensuring best value for money and a competent and responsive workforce The market engagement day will consist of presentations, workshops and a Q&A session with the intention to get suppliers of similar services expertise and insight to the future delivery of the service. Within the attached document, there is a draft copy of the Children and Young People Complex Personal and Nursing care specification to enable you as a supplier to understand the initial position and the commissioner's intentions for the future service model and help inform the day. There are also some market engagement themes, which you are asked to consider a response to and bring those views and any further information/comments to the day to help inform the event. The purpose of the Service is to support families/carers to enable Children and Young People to remain in their own homes, living as safely and independently as possible meeting their health outcomes
