Tender description

A CRV is a 'blue light' fitted response vehicle equipped to support Coastguard Rescue Team Search and Rescue operations. They are equipped to allow the provision of casualty care searches and water safety/rescue. Where required these vehicles are also equipped with rope rescue and mud rescue equipment. 4x4 Pickup vehicles are currently the best option to provide this capability cost effectively. These vehicles can be easily configured for emergency response role. The Ford Ranger Double Cab XLT is one of the class leaders it offers car-like characteristics, good safety features and increased load capacity, it has highest towing capacity available.
