Tender description

Warrington Borough Council (the "Council") 'hosts' Her Majesty's Coroner for Cheshire (the Coroner). The Council is a contracting authority and as such invites tenders from organisations that have the relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for delivering a body removal service. This tender is being carried out to ensure that the service provides value for money, within an environment of continuing budgetary pressures, through a competitive process. The tender will also ensure that risks to the Coroner's service are mitigated through a robust contractual arrangement and that public procurement legislation is complied with. The tender is split into 4 Lots that cover the Cheshire. The Coroner required the following removal for the financial year 2017/2018:- Chester 380 Macclesfield 300 Crewe 500 Warrington 450
