Tender description

Tenders are invited for Markeaton Brook Desilting Works. Works include: • Removal of self-set trees from water course (as required). • Removal of surface vegetation to walls and deposited silt. • Carting of vegetable matter to an approved tip. • Installation, and subsequent removal of a silt curtain to prevent the onward flow of disturbed silt. • Excavate deposited silt from watercourse to form a clear flowing open channel as indicated on drawings. • Ensure that remaining silt is suitably shaped to support normal brook flows. • Removal of silt to a suitable tip. • Clean and remove any loose detritus from site leaving.
