Tender description

Lincolnshire County Council undertook a procurement for the provision of homecare services across the south west of Lincolnshire covering 2 areas: 1) Grantham; and 2) Bourne and Stamford. The homecare services will meet the health and social care needs for adults aged 18 and over who are ordinarily resident in Lincolnshire. Care will be provided in the home (including Extra Care facilities) covering a range of care / support services to enable individuals to maximise their independence for as long as possible and maintain their safety. The evaluation of tender submissions was based upon 2 stages, Business Information Assessment and Award Criteria. Only those submissions that met the Assessment Criteria were evaluated against the Award Criteria. Contracts have been awarded to the tow highest scoring Providers with Lots allocated to each provider based upon their quality score, the Provider's lot preferences, their capacity as established and qualified for as part of their Business Information Assessment and the impact on the current market, specifically with regard to minimising service disruption and harm to service users within the transition period.
