Tender description

Irish Water is tendering to establish a Multi-supplier Framework for Jetting and tank cleaning of Irish Water waste water and Water assets. This comprises of 4 Lots: — lot 1 – Provision of sewer Jetting, — lot 2 – Provision of waste water pipework, tank and vessel cleaning, — lot 3 – Cleaning pipelines in the water distribution network, — lot 4 – Provision of clear water tanks, vessels and reservoir cleaning. Tenderers are invited to specify the Local authorities for which they want to tender in relation to each of these Lots. Any or all of the following activities may be required: — general cleaning and flushing of blockages from the Waste water network, — removal & disposal of silt, grit, oils, fats, greases, sludge and other material that can build up in the Waste water network, — pre and post-cleaning CCTV investigation or inspection and providing evidence that the blockage has been remove, — providing the relevant and appropriate cutting and removal service for materials including and not limited to grease, concrete and roots, — confined space entry, — acting as the contractor (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)), — fulfilling duties of designer (as defined in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)) as required, — acceptance of appointment as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and Project supervisor for the construction stage (PSCS), — acceptance of fulfilling duties of designer (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)) as required, — traffic management services associated with the above activities, — 24 hour and emergency cover for any other relevant associated activity. Any or all of the following activities may be required: — emptying and cleaning down of waste water assets, including treatment tanks, channels, pipework and vessels, — cleaning and unblocking of pipelines in Waste water treatment plants and pumping stations, — transportation, removal and disposal of silt, grit, fats, oils, greases, sludge and other material, — pre and/or post-cleaning CCTV investigation or inspection and providing evidence that the blockage has been removed, — removal and disposal of all associated material including silt, grit, oils, fats, greases, rags and sludge build up, — identifying and reporting on required repairs and facilitating inspection of the concerned area, — confined space entry, — acting as the contractor (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)), — acceptance of appointment as designer, Project supervisor design process (PSDP) and Project supervisor for the construction stage (PSCS) (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)), — acceptance of fulfilling duties of designer (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)) as required, — traffic management services associated with the above activities, — 24 hour and emergency cover for any other relevant associated activity. Any or all of the following activities may be required: — clearing, flushing and disinfection of pipelines in the water distribution network including water treatment plants and pumping stations, — pre and/or Post-Cleaning CCTV Investigation or inspection and providing evidence that the blockage has been removed, — removal, transportation and disposal of all associated waste material, — confined space entry, — act as the contractor under the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013, — acceptance of appointment as Project supervisor design process (PSDP) and Project supervisor for the construction stage (PSCS) under the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013, — fulfilling duties of designer (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)) as required, — traffic Management Services associated with the above activities, — 24 hour and emergency cover for any other relevant associated activity. Any or all of the following activities may be required: — emptying of water treatment tanks and vessels, — removal, transportation, storage and disposal of all associated waste material, — cleaning and disinfection of Water treatment tanks and vessels, — identify if repairs are required and facilitate inspection of the concerned area, — dechlorinating testing water, — confined space entry, if required, — act as the contractor under the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013, — fulfilling duties of designer (as defined in the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013 (SI 291 of 2013)) as required, — acceptance of appointment as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and Project supervisor for the construction stage (PSCS) under the safety, health and welfare at work (Construction) Regulations 2013, — traffic management services associated with the above activities, — 24 hour and emergency cover.
