Senior Project Management Services for the delivery of key Enterprise Ireland Event(s)

Tender description

The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a single party framework agreement for the provision of Senior Project Management Services for the delivery of key Enterprise Ireland Event(s). Enterprise Ireland runs a showcase of start-ups built on State funded research on an annual basis, called the Big Ideas event. The target audience is the third level sector and the Irish venture capital and investor community. The aim of the event is to connect the promoters / inventors of technologies built using State funded research with potential investors to create new companies. The Event will promote a number of key State funded supports for innovation to the third level sector to promote the development of start-up companies. A key feature of the event will be investor ready start-up event which attracts an audience of potential investors in start-up companies. The official title or brand for the event is “Big Ideas”. Enterprise Ireland is responsible for the delivery of the Event on behalf of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation. The ultimate goal of the Event is a networking and knowledge event to bring the third level sector and investors together on how to fund, develop and create a spin out companies from research from third level institutions. Existing start-up companies from the third level sector will have an opportunity to pitch their companies to investors. The Event builds on the progress made by the Big ideas event since 2010.
