School catering services

Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services at Broadgate Primary School and Ireland Wood Primary School who are looking to appoint a catering contractor to provide school meals from September 2018. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years with 2 optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budget and guidelines. There are currently the following pupils on roll: Broadgate Primary School 298 split KS1-177 KS2- 121 (Key stage 1 has a 2 form entry in year 2 and each year will increase by 30 pupils for then next 3 years) Ireland Wood Primary School — 405 pupils split KS1 — 171 KS2- 234 You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service in lines with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: The site visit will take place as follows: Ireland Wood Primary School: 16.4.2018 Broadgate Primary School: 19.4.2018. Note: Deadline for return of tender is midday 18.3.2018 using the corresponding Form of Acknowledgement. Please note that this tender falls under the regulations of the Light Touch Regime of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
