Pre Market Engagement on the Management and Operations of Gainsborough Town Market The Council is reviewing options for the management and operations of the Gainsborough Town Market. It is intended to grow the services of the market maintaining pace with other infrastructure developments across the district. Any future operator would be expected to apply innovation and professionalism to the work, and increase customer footfall and satisfaction. It is intended to review the operations of the market with a view to improve growth and contribute to the retail and social experience of both residents and visitors to the town. Should the Council choose to move forward with a contract, the anticipated start date will be 30.4.2019. Any future contract shall be sufficiently flexible so as to meet future needs, provide value for money and deliver efficiencies across the Council. Before embarking on a tender process we wish to engage with the potential suppliers to gather intelligence, which will inform the sourcing strategy and thus the procurement. We therefore seek to engage with appropriate events management companies who have an interest in the management of town markets. Pease note to make the most of valuable time for both interested suppliers and the Council only suppliers who have undertaken similar contracts should register at this stage.
