Tender description

Metropolitan connects with customers by working together to identify the issues that are most relevant to them and the activities that will bring them the most benefit. By doing this, we aim to understand their aspirations, and to help them onto pathways to develop their potential. We work to improve the quality of life of our customers by strengthening and developing sustainable communities. The thematic areas in which we focus on developing and delivering services are: — customer involvement, — employment and training, — financial inclusion, — advocating independence, — sustaining communities, — health and wellbeing, — developing young people. Our Neighbourhood investment strategy underpins the values that we work to and direction that we take in delivering services. (For more information, please see contact details at the end of the application). We work with a wide range of local and national partners to help support the work we do and develop new and innovative initiatives. Metropolitan Housing Trust is seeking to appoint a contract for the provision of the services for the following Lots: Lot Category: 1) London North Employment Delivery; 2) London South Employment Delivery (Southwark); 3) London South Employment Delivery (Sutton). All contracted organisations must deliver on at least one of the above programmes, which will run as part of the Metroployment programme. Metropolitan will select up to 3 partners for the programmes and for a contract period (pro-rata) as indicated in the specific lot requirement. Please note: We have commissioned an external evaluation programme to assess the 18/19 Metroployment programme and as such there may be small changes to our delivery requirements for the successful organisation once selected. This will not affect this tendering exercise which will be assessed on the following. In London, Metropolitan has communities in a number of boroughs including Haringey, Enfield, Barnet, Lambeth, Southwark, Sutton, Hackney and Brent. Our aims are outlined below and we welcome innovative ways of achieving these (5.2). Employment, youth and financial inclusion services are all interlinked and we are looking for Metroployment service proposals that show clear pathways as to how other services are accessed and linked. We welcome proposals with added value (for example funded programmes already being delivered which can bolster services). In addition, we are not prescriptive about where services will be delivered. We have community facilities at the heart of our communities in most areas and these are available for service delivery.
