Tender description

The Marine Engineering Division (MED) of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) require the services of a GIS specialist to produce a geodatabase of DAFM owned property within the four Fishery Harbour Centres (FHC) of An Daingean, Castletownbere, Dunmore East and Howth. The GIS specialist would be on location at MED offices at Ballyshannon, Co Donegal for 12 weeks, Tralee, Co. Kerry for three weeks and Kildare Street, Dublin for one week. Land surveys of all DAFM owned properties within the four FHCs are required in order to provide accurate and real data for the geodatabase. Training on the use of the geodatabase shall also be required under this tender.
