Tender description
Southend on Sea Borough Council is seeking to appoint an event management company to plan, manage and implement a programme of active travel events across south Essex between August 2018 and 31 March 2020 managed by South Essex Active Travel (SEAT) team. Some key elements of this support will include, but not be limited to: • Strategic event programme design and management • Event management and logistics • Management of exhibitions at public events • Development of event content • Event production • Project planning • Budgetary management • Provision of on-site resource to manage and co-ordinate events • Identifying locations for events • Venue sourcing, contracting and management • Risk management • Management of audio visual systems for events • Event promotion and communications • Contribution to project evaluation Southend on Sea Borough Council is carrying out this procurement exercise in the form of an Open Tender.
