Why the Work is Being Done We have some reliability and resiliency issues with both our LAN/WAN and the telephony platforms that run on the network and would like an independent review of the current position and plan to make the network more reliable and resilient. Secondly a review of the telephony platforms we are implementing to ensure they are both designed correctly and fit for purpose Problem to Be Solved Lacking assurance of network resilience and telephony design Who Are the Users In excess of 4000 users need to consume their ICT service from the Devon County Council network and the roll-out of telephony platforms for staff and customer teams with complex telephony routing requirements suitable for contact centre working Early Market Engagement Work Already Done A network improvement plan exists and we would like that reviewed as being an appropriate plan. A telephony platform design needs review to ensure it's fit for purpose. Existing Team Devon County Council internal ICT team and potentially external supplier who originally designed the telephony platform Current Phase Live Work Location Exeter, Devon Working Arrangments Work onsite alongside the internal ICT team to understand the design and issues of the existing network and telephony platforms and subsequently deliver a report that review existing plans and designs and reassures they are correct or recommends appropriate amendments. Security Clearance Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Demonstrable experience and skills in MPLS network design and Avaya core network switch routing Demonstrable experience and skills telephony platform design Demonstrable experience and skills in Skype for Business as a telephony platform Demonstrable experience and skills in complex call routing for customer service centre environments Nice to Haves experience and understanding of a public sector environment experience in working with multiple suppliers No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria Approach and methodology Technical solution Mitigation of risks and issues Meeting user needs Value for money Cultural Fit Criteria work as a team with our organisation and its otehr suppliers share knowledge and experience work with clients with low expertise challenge the status quo Payment Approach Fixed price Assessment Method Written proposal Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 10% Price 40% Questions from Suppliers Budget range
