National Health Service Commissioning Board (NHS England), intends to put a framework in place for Occupational Health Services. The Framework Agreement will be made available to public sector health organisations throughout England not including Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The duration of _1485 Framework Agreement is two (2) years initial contract period with an option to extend for another one (1) plus one (1) years in total. The Framework Agreement will be divided into eight (8) Lots based on geographical locations to provide occupational health services on a regional level or national: Lot 1: Midlands Lot 2: Central and East of England Lot 3: North West Lot 4: North East Lot 5: South West Lot 6: South East Lot 7: London Lot 8: National Running alongside this framework will be the Call Off of the non-clinical requirement for National Health Service Commissioning Board (NHS England). This requirement will commence on the 3.10.2018. Lot 1 is for the provision of Full Service Occupational Health Services for all of Contracting Authorities Personnel within public sector health. The core requirements for Lot 1 Full Service Occupational Health Service which shall include but is not limited to: — Professional Advice to Contracting Authorities and to its employee’s, — Provide trained and qualified occupational health staff and Contractor accreditation's, — Workplace and Workstation Assessments, — Display Screen Equipment Workstation Assessments, — Manage referrals and cases from initial assessment to patient outcome, — Provide an online portal for Contracting Authorities to manage occupational health requirements on the Contractors portal, — Provide well being services, — Provide telephone services, — Provide face to face appointments, — Provide physician led services, — Provide nurse led services, — Flexible service, — Education and awareness training, — Provide physiotherapy services, — Single or multi location services, — Attendance Management, — Missed Appointments, — Clinical Requirements for those working in the medical, dental and optometric environment, — Substance misuse, — Eyesight tests, — Organisation-wise stress audit and services, — Counselling (within working hours and outside working hours) including self-referrals, — Mediation services for any disputes, — Referral to an external specialist and or medical practitioners, — Ill- health retirement services, — Pre-employment and pre-enrolement checks, — Consultancy Services, — Attendance assessments and case management/conferences, — In-service health surveillance checks, — Education and awareness programmes and training. The delivery of the Occupational Health Services shall be underpinned by the following principles: — The Services shall be available to all health Contracting Authorities Personnel in England, — The Service shall provide sufficient flexibility of approach to accommodate different organisational structures, operating styles, cultures and job roles, — Confidentiality is crucial to the integrity of the Services, — A strong focus on a high quality, clinically-led, evidence-based Services, — Impartial advice and guidance for both Contracting Authorities Personnel and the Contracting Authorities, — Cooperation and partnership with suppliers of Services where there is a required hand off between Services, — Delivery of innovative Services, — Maximising e-enabled solutions and innovations, — Flexibility to meet identified individual business needs, including the provision of a permanent on-site presence at the Contracting Authorities specified locations; and — Flexibility to meet changing internal and external policies and regulations. The value of Lot 1 is an estimated £200,000 however this figure may increase or decrease depending on the number of Contracting Authorities utilizing Lot 1. The value of the total contract value may increase from £2,500,000 to £5,000,000 depending on the number of Public Sector Health Contracting Authorities utilizing the framework, therefore increasing the value of Lot 1. The geographical coverage of Midlands Lot 1 is but not limited to: Staffordshire, Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin; Derbyshire; Lincolnshire; Nottinghamshire; Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland; Black Country and West Birmingham; Birmingham and Solihull; Coventry and Warwickshire; and Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Lot 2 is for the provision of Full Service Occupational Health Services for all of Contracting Authorities Personnel within public sector health. Included in the Invitation To Tender (ITT) will be the Call Off for non-clinical requirement for National Health Service Commissioning Board (NHS England). It is expected that this Call Off contract will commence on the 03rd October 2018.
