The council requires the provision ,of a funeral service to meet the duties and obligations as specified under section 46 of Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984. This is the provision of undertaking funeral services in circumstances where the council has concluded there are no other suitable arrangement being made on behalf of the deceased.
