Tender description

Welsh Government is looking to strengthen their understanding of the operational activity of the Welsh fishing fleet. The aim of this project is to improve the data capture from commercial fisheries in Wales using innovative ICT solutions particularly in areas such as Vessel Monitoring and catch reporting. The implementation of new systems will help both Industry and Government create a sustainable and prosperous fishing industry in Wales. The Welsh Ministers are seeking a single supplier to supply and fit an inshore vessel monitoring systems on the Welsh under 12 m fishing fleet. In addition further work may be required to develop and host additional data capture applications for use by the Welsh fishing fleet.
