CS5278 Parent and Infant Wellbeing Service

Tender description

Contract awarded for the South Cluster this will have a Parent and Infant Wellbeing Coordinator who will recruit and supervise a team of volunteer peer supporters to provide support for local parents and carers during pregnancy and the first year of the baby's life. It will link closely with the children's centres in each cluster to identify pregnant families and families with children born within the last 6 months and host an initial home visit to each of the identified and referred families to outline the support available and to signpost other support services and facilities available. For some of the families this would include having an agreed package of support from the projects volunteer peer supporters.
