Tender description

Administration and management of Continuing Healthcare caseload including brokerage of service user placements An interim contract is being directly awarded to an existing provider of local services to ensure continuity of a healthcare commissioning support function overseeing CHC placements and their administration in regard to patients eligible for Funded Nursing Care (FNC) and fully funding NHS care under the Continuing Healthcare regulations. This temporary contract will enable Wandsworth and Merton CCGs to establish and test a singular service solution ahead of a planned competitive procurement process being planned for late summer 2018. This interim arrangement will safeguard the management of care packages for many vulnerable patients until a substantive contract can be competed and awarded for commencement from 1.4.2019.
