AC0582 Care and Support for People with a Learning Disability

Wiltshire Council is seeking a provider/s for care and support for people with learning disabilities in Supported Living accommodation to work in partnership with following the transfer of a current package. One provision is in Salisbury the other is in Trowbridge. The service will cover supported living services for 13 customers. 9 in Salisbury and 4 in Trowbridge The customers are adults (18 years of age and older) with learning disabilities. Some may also have additional difficulties and a range of support needs. This may include (but not limited to) people with complex health and support needs, behaviours which challenge services, autism and physical disabilities. The Provider(s) successful in bidding for this service will be able to ensure that customers are adequately supported. The level of support required by each customer varies, but includes 2 customers with complex health needs. The Council is looking to award contracts for a 1 year period (with a possible extension of a further one year) during which time the development of the market will be reviewed.
