006278 - Civic Centre 10th Floor Double Glazed Unit Replacement

Tender description

The City Council is wishing to appoint a Contractor to undertake the supply and fit of special glazing on the 10th floor of Newcastle Civic Centre. The Civic Centre will be occupied during parts of the works and a safe and healthy environment is to be maintained at all times. The In-House building contractor, Building and Commercial Enterprise (BCE) will be the main contractor. The required replacement of Double Glazed Units is required to be completed within 10 weeks of receipt of order. The proposed programme commencement date for the glazing installation is mid July 2018 and the work is anticipated to be completed by the end of September 2018, working approximately five days a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 07.00am & 07.00pm.
