Tender description

The University of Bath is seeking a supplier for the provision of water hygiene – Monitoring and inspection services. The following indicates the water hygiene services included within the scope of this tender which shall all comply in every respect with approved code of Practice L8 (4th Edition) 2013 and HSG274: — quarterly showerhead cleaning, disinfection and flushing incl. periodic flushing & cleaning of emergency laboratory showers, — measuring and monitoring of water temperatures in accordance with HSG274, — CWST inspections and water sampling, — TMV servicing, — emergency response in relation to the Control of Legionella within water systems, — monthly fire hydrant flushing and operation checks, — flushing of infrequently used outlets, — water sampling of external lakes & fountains, — monitoring of water softeners (weekly salt level & operational checks), — provision of periodic contract status statements and remedial action reports.
