Tender description

The provision of Kinship care safeguarding and support service(s). Lot 3 — South Glasgow. The service will be delivered to children and young people in stable kinship relationships in South social work services locality. The service will assist the local authority to meet its statutory duties by carrying out safeguarding visits to the children referred to this service; reporting back to Social work services on the safety and wellbeing of the child, as well as on any risk which may affect the stability of the Kinship placement. The service will work with relevant agencies to support the achievement of the outcomes detailed in a child’s care plan, also offering practical support to the family and child, for example liaising with local schools to address issues relating to the child's education and attainment. The service will be delivered in kinship carers’ homes and the child’s community. This procurement will be conducted via the Public Contracts Scotland — Tender portal (PCS-T). We will apply a 1 stage Open procedure. Bidders must self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the ESPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit means of proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in Section III in this OJEU Contract notice when completing the ESPD in PCS-T. Lot 1 — North East Glasgow.
