The current Uniform caps are priced at £17.37 each, and the price will remain the same. Clothing stores only issue these types of caps to traffic officers, and possibly if there is a mutual aid requirement where uniform caps must be worn, and have envisaged an annual usage of around 50 caps per annum. This provides an annual cost of £868.50, and an overall potential cost of £3,474 over four years. The current Bowler hats are priced at £29.62 and the new price will be £32.35. Clothing stores only issue these types of bowlers to traffic officers, and possibly if there is a mutual aid requirement where bowler hats must be worn, and have envisaged an annual usage of around 20 bowler hats per annum. This provides an annual cost of £647.00, and an overall potential cost of £2,588 over four years. Total contract value will be in the region of £6,062.
