Tender description

Engineering inspection services of various plant and equipment across the Hampshire estate. Hampshire County Council wish to establish a contract for a maximum of 6 years on the following basis: 2 years with the option to extend in increments of 2 years. IE: 1.4.2019 — 31.3.2021 Extensions would be: 1.4.2021 — 31.3.2023 1.4.2023 — 31.3.2025 The value of 850 000 GBP is for the 6 year period. Hampshire County Council is interested in hearing from Suppliers who would be able to provide engineering inspection services to the Hampshire estate. This PIN is seeking to establish if there would be a suitable “Competent Person” to provide Engineering Inspection Services only of all of Hampshire County Council’s plant and equipment which includes boiler and pressure vessel plant, pipelines and pipe assemblies and the like, LPG systems and the like; lifts, hoists, lifting equipment, lifting tackle and the like and inspections and reports complying with the requirements of the Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). Together with Written Schemes of Examination under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations PSSR:2000 It is proposed that the route to market would be through an open procurement procedure to obtain these engineering inspection services.
