Tender description

The dissolved inorganic carbon analyser extracts dissolved carbon dioxide in all its forms (CO2 gas, bicarbonate, carbonate) from seawater and prepares the resultant gas stream for quantification. It consists of a highly efficient gas bubbling reactor, a mass-flow­ controller to control the carrier gas flow precisely, a digital pump for transferring accurate amounts of reagent and sample. The analyzer uses an electronic cooling system to control the reactor temperature and, with the help of a Nation tube, to eliminate the water vapour. The system can be coupled with a Picarro's G-2021 i Analyzer for the simultaneous and precise quantification of Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) and δ13C for natural water samples.
