Brief Description of Requirement SIS Heavy Gang requires a low loader van in order to safely transport heavy equipment around site and to outstations. The van is replacing an obsolete Freelander and trailer. ISIS does not own a vehicle of the required spec The unit is essential to ISIS operations to be able to transport equipment - office moves and stores etc. The unit must meet carrying capacity requirements and must comply with modern safety standards with all warnings and safety features included. The unit must meet specification and performance specified in all areas of operation. Critical Criteria • Long wheelbase 3.5 tonne chassis • Removable body with double side doors • Length: Up to 4 metres • Width: Up to 2.3 metres • Height: Up to 3.2 metres • Rear door height no less than 2.5 metres • Double side door height no less than 2.5 metres • Double side door width no less than 1.7 metres • Rear loading ramp (full width and low profile on the body): 1 tonne capacity • Internal tie rails to secure loads • Lighting inside body • LED lighting all round • Incorporate all modern health and safety features as standard.
