This is a market information exercise and may not necessarily lead to any future procurement process. In the event that it did proceed, it is not yet certain which procurement route would be followed. Suppliers will be neither advantaged nor disadvantaged by responding to the questionnaire. Hampshire County Council is carrying out a market engagement exercise to benchmark the supply and management of the bus lane enforcement services, as described in Section II.2.4. Hampshire County Council is carrying out a market engagement exercise to benchmark the supply and management of the following bus lane enforcement services: Section 1: Supply, installation and maintenance of bus lane enforcement cameras; Section 2: Provision of the back office IT software; Section 3: Provision of a service to review, approve and despatch PCNs to the registered vehicle owners and collection of payments; Section 4: Provide and host a full enforcement service covering Sections 1, 2 and 3. Hampshire County Council is exploring different financial models of operating bus lane enforcement such as a combination of leasing equipment, cloud based IT solutions and the processing of offences.
