Introduction Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) employs approximately 1,000 staff (Whole-time equivalents) and educates approximately 10,000 students. The Institute provides education at multiple levels from apprenticeship to the highest post graduate levels; carries out high quality research to support industry and business development locally, nationally and internationally; and maintains links and collaborate with industry, business and other educational institutions. General Information WIT Diverse Campus Services Limited at Waterford Institute of Technology invites tenders from reputable and competent Sports Fitness and Gymnasium Equipment providers who can provide a range of sports equipment to meet the Institute’s requirements for the fit-out of our new WIT Arena Building. WIT have prepared a document of notional quantities (Appendix 3 Pricing Schedule) which estimates WITs understanding of the requirements for the fitness equipment fit out of our new WIT Arena building at this time. A final assessment will take place prior to contract award with the successful tenderer to agree defined quantities of what is to be installed. No guarantees can be given at this time as to what the final budget will be. It is anticipated that the sports fitness and gymnasium equipment contract will be placed and completed in 2nd quarter of 2018 and all prices to remain valid for a period of 6 months. Scope of Requirements Supply, delivery, commissioning and installation as required of sports fitness and gymnasium equipment at WIT Arena, Waterford Institute of Technology, West Campus, Carriganore, Waterford.
