Statutory inspections of lifting equipment and local exhaust ventilation systems across TfL assets. All equipment included within this specification shall be available for use 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and fault repair of the equipment. All items of lifting equipment and lifting accessories shall be inspected at six monthly intervals. The contractor shall inspect the company's local exhaust ventilation systems annually (12 monthly). A draft specification and draft terms and conditions will be sent out once you have expressed an interest. Examples of lifting equipment used by TfL and subject to Loler include: overhead cranes and their supporting runways, a building cleaning cradle and its suspension equipment, jacks, hoists, vehicle tail lifts and cranes fitted to vehicles, goods and passenger lifts, lifting accessories (slings, chains hooks, eyebolts, spreader beams etc.). Examples of pressure systems used by TfL and subject to PSSR include: control gas relief valves, argon cylinder pressure gauges, turbine gas filters, compressor after cooler oil separators etc..
