South Cambridgeshire District Council - Village Design Statements

Tender description

SCDC has been awarded funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)’s Design Quality Fund, to work with local communities to develop a number of exemplar Village Design Statements (VDS). SCDC is currently working to identify the most appropriate villages in the District to participate in this project, and to undertake early research and capacity building, including identifying a project champion and forming a project steering group, with the selected village communities. SCDC wishes to procure four (4) suitably experienced and skilled consultants to work with selected villages in the District and with SCDC planners, to produce concise and specific Village Design Statements that are suitable to be adopted as Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD).
