Tender description

This opportunity invites tenders from quality Providers of Residential Homes, evidenced by an Ofsted rating of ‘Requires Improvement to be Good’ or better, to provide placements for children and young people with severe disabilities and/or complex health needs and/or challenging behaviour. There will be for some children and young people a plan designed around moving the child or young person to foster care or a return home (Reunification). It is possible that children and young people will have experienced placement breakdowns as well as abuse, neglect and loss and may demonstrate offending and/or challenging behaviours or be emotionally vulnerable. In consideration of Hampshire County Council's partnership with the Isle of Wight provision has been made for the Isle of Wight to access this framework. The estimate total value includes spend for the Isle of Wight. Children and young people requiring planned and/or same day residential care, whom are normally resident within Hampshire. Children and young people requiring crisis placements consisting of residential care at short notice for a relatively short duration, whom are normally resident within Hampshire. Children and young people who require a residential placement with DFE regulated education, whom are normally resident within Hampshire. Parents and their Children requiring a placement for the purposes of conducting an assessment of parenting capacity, whom are normally resident within Hampshire. Children and young people requiring a placement out of area or where placement options have not been identified from Hampshire or the bordering Authorities.
